FYI:
- MAJ is for youth across Minnesota and beyond; for kids in completed grades 2-8 and for teens in completed grades 8 through one year past high school
- MAJ is organized by WELS (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod) members and hosted at a WELS church in the Twin Cities.

- Whereas performing arts is "the tool" used at MAJ, MAJ is appealing to all types of young people (not just performers). It has become known as a favorite, if not thee favorite, part of one's summer. Past participants say they love the “inclusiveness and positivity”... the way “you can be yourself”… the “close friendships” that result from the retreat-style weekend... and… how you “grow in your faith” at MAJ.
- MAJ began in 1990, has since been hosted by six different churches with 39 productions performed and has positively impacted the lives of hundreds of youth, as the participants have gained skills in the performing arts, leadership and personal development, developed lifelong Christian friendships… and most importantly grown in their faith and praised their Lord! To God be the Glory!
- Participants typically come from more than 40 different communities across Minnesota and beyond.
- Please don't let the location deter you from promoting MAJ! Even though Kids MAJ is a day camp (and the participants "go home" at night), there are host houses for participants who do not live close by - participants come from all over! Teen MAJ is an overnight retreat - participants come from all over!

Please help promote MAJ! You can:

1. Recruit - Personally invite the young people YOU know to participate in MAJ.
2. Tell Parents - Talk with parents about the MAJ opportunity and give them the "Letter to Parents."
3. Forward MAJ Emails and Texts to your family and friends and share the link to www.musicandjesus.org.
4. Link the "Promo Image" ("Kids," "Teen" or "Both" available) to your school or church's website and in your electronic newsletter.
5. Link the "Flyer" ("Kids," "Teen" or "Both" available) to your school or church's website and in your electronic newsletter.
6. Include the "Wording for Bulletin/Electronic Newsletter" in your Church or School Bulletin/Electronic Newsletter.
7. Include the "Bulletin Insert" in your church bulletin.
8. Hang the "Flyer" at your church or school.
9. Distribute the "Flyer" and/or "Letter to Parents" - PRINT or EMAIL - to the students (grades 2-13) and parents in your church (including your Sunday School and church teen groups) and in your Christian elementary, middle and/or high schools.
10. Invite people to the MAJ performance(s) with the "Show Invitation Flyer".
