MAJ Youth Leaders

Do you have a passion for MAJ and want to help lead it?  ​Then be a Youth Leader!
Youth Leaders (YLs) at MAJ will have the opportunity to help plan parts of the MAJ camp/retreat, facilitate large and small group activities and discussions, welcome new participants to the program, be leaders on and off stage, help "behind stage," lead by example and much much more!  What a great way to live your faith!

Kids MAJ Youth Leaders
 Eligibility:
Kids MAJ Youth Leaders should have participated in at least one year of Kids MAJ in the past and have completed grades 7-8 (as of June of current year).

Time Requirement:
Kids MAJ Youth Leaders should be in attendance at the entire Kids MAJ camp.  (If you need to be gone for a period of time, contact Amy.)  Youth Leaders are also encouraged to participate in a Youth Leader gathering/meeting on the Thursday evening (night before MAJ begins) in Chanhassen.  Youth Leaders should also plan to arrive early on the first day of MAJ (Friday) at 8:30 a.m.

Kids MAJ Youth Leader Gathering/Meeting:
     Thursday, June 20, 2024 (day before first day of MAJ)
     3:30-5:30 pm (includes pizza supper)
     Location: Mt Olive in Delano
Teen MAJ Youth Leaders
Eligibility:
Teen MAJ Youth Leaders should have participated in at least one year of Teen MAJ in the past and have completed grades 9-13 (as of June of current year).

Time Requirement:
Teen MAJ Youth Leaders should be in attendance at the entire Teen MAJ weekend retreat.  (If you need to be gone for a period of time, contact Amy.)  Youth Leaders should also plan to arrive early on Thursday for the Teen MAJ Youth Leader Meeting/Orientation.  (There will not be a Youth Leader meeting scheduled before Teen MAJ weekend.)

Teen MAJ Youth Leader Early Arrival & Meeting/Orientation:
     Thursday, July 4, 2024 (first day of Teen MAJ)
     12:30-2:30 p.m.  Youth Leader Meeting/Orientation
          (YL mtg time is flexible due to Delano's 10:30 am parade)
     (2:30-3:00 p.m. Arrival & Registration for all participants)
     Location: Mt. Olive in Delano
